This collaboration strengthens microLAN not only commercially in North America, but also technically. Aqua Science has extensive experience in bioassay-based toxicity testing, and regulatory-driven water quality applications. Their expertise aligns perfectly with microLAN’s vision of real-time, biologically relevant water quality monitoring.
With TOXcontrol, utilities gain continuous early warning for acute toxicity events using bioluminescent bioassays, while BACTcontrol provides real-time insight into total and specific bacterial activity, including rapid detection of changes related to E. coli, Coliform and microbial contamination.
By combining proven online instrumentation with deep application knowledge in drinking water, wastewater, and environmental monitoring, microLAN and Aqua Science are jointly advancing biological early warning systems for safer water management across North America.
